【Abstract】 Multi-stakeholder approach in the context of the Internet governance, in contrast to traditional government-driven policy making process, roughly means an inclusive and participatory Internet governance and policy making process. The article provides an elaborate explanation of the concept "multi-stakeholder" and its evolution in past decades since the World Summit of Information Society(2003-2005). The Internet Government Forum(IGF) initiated by the United Nations, was analyzed as an interesting case of implementing the multi-stakeholder approach, so as to illustrate those lessons learned and challenges faced.更多还原
