【Abstract】 Firstly, the paper briefly describes and comments the present relevant research on scientific data manage-ment and sharing abroad. Then looks back and describes the practices of scientific data management and sharing inAmerica’s libraries. They are mainly as follows: paying continuous attention to scientific data management and sharing;university library and research association actively launch the researches and practices of scientific data managementand sharing items; actively develop the education and training of scientific data management and sharing so as to trainexcellent talents.
