【Abstract】 Frankenstein: or the Modern Prometheus mainly talked about the life of a young scientist,Victor Frankenstein,how he created the monster and how the monster destroyed his life. As the first scientific fiction in modern literature,this novel reformed the traditional narrative methodology by combining stylistic characteristics like epistolary style. This thesis analyses the violence elements as the sub-structure of the tragedy of Frankenstein,by pointing out the duality of violence and the inevitability of its antinomy.更多还原
