【Abstract】 John Cage is a key figure in the western music and art world. With the trend of diversified western music in the20 th century,the relation with oriental ideas and his musical concept which is deeply influenced by Zen have caught researchers ’attention. Bases on the 20 th American musical background, this essay analyzes Zen’s influence on John Cage’s music concepts from aspects of aleatorism, absence of deliberate sound and non-standard use of musical instruments.更多还原
