【摘要】 清末民初,在瑞安士绅的努力之下,瑞安地方社会事业不断完善。在教育事业方面,新式学堂和阅报公所的建设,使瑞安初步完成了教育转型,提高了百姓的文化水平,改革了落后的民俗风情;在公共事业方面,海塘、庙宇等方面的建设,让瑞安人民的基本生活得到了保障,维护了社会秩序的稳定。地方士绅在瑞安地方社会事业发展过程中发挥了主角的作用,士绅阶层也不断发展壮大。更多还原

【Abstract】 Turn of Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China saw the constant development of social causes in Rui’an thanks to the efforts of the scholar-gentry class. Modern schools and public newspaper reading-rooms were established to transform the local education,improve the education levels of local people,and reform the outdated folk customs. As for public service,seawalls and temples were built to guarantee basic livelihoods for Rui’an people and maintain social stability. The scholar-gentries played a major role in developing the local social causes in Rui’an as the scholar-gentry class was expanding.更多还原
