2015~2016年青藏高原积雪深度自动观测数据集
A dataset for automatically measured snow depth on the Tibetan Plateau(2015-2016)
【摘要】 积雪是冰冻圈中最为活跃的要素之一,积雪监测对雪灾评估、水文预报与气候变化研究等具有重要意义。自2015年9月起,我们建立了包括10个站点的青藏高原积雪深度连续自动观测网络。观测网主要采用SR50A超声波测距传感器与Hydra Probe II土壤多参数传感器,获取近实时积雪深度与土壤水分等观测数据。积雪深度测量精度约1 cm,土壤水分精度约为3%。本数据集有望为该地区遥感积雪产品的质量验证,以及为高原地区的积雪灾害实时监测提供重要数据源。
【Abstract】 Because snow cover is one of the most active elements of the cryosphere, snow monitoring is important for blizzard monitoring, hydrological forecasting, and climate change studies. In September 2015, we established an automatic network of ten stations to continuously measure the snow depth on the Tibetan Plateau. Each station is equipped with an SR50 A sonic ranging sensor and a Hydra Probe II soil sensor to measure snow depth, soil moisture, and other soil properties in near real time. The accuracy of the snow depth and soil moisture of this dataset reaches about 1 cm and 3%, respectively. This dataset will be helpful for snow disaster monitoring and the evaluation of snow cover products derived from satellites.
