讨论式教学法在生物学专业研究生创新教育中的探索与实践
The Exploration and Practice of Discussion-based Teaching Method in Biology Graduate’s Innovative Education
【摘要】 传统的讲授式教学方法已不能满足高级创新性人才培养的需求。为了顺应社会对生物学高级专业创新型人才的需求,根据讨论式教学法的特点,学校修订了生物学专业硕士研究生的《生物学前沿与进展》教学大纲,并组建了具有博士学位兼高级职称的教学团队。结合学校的核特色与医品牌,筛选了"核辐射DNA损伤与修复"、"细胞死亡的研究进展"、"生态约束与生态支撑"、"污染生态学"、"实验动物福利与伦理现状"、"免疫毒素的研究进展"6个研讨专题。在教师的引导下,研究生自主的查阅文献、组织材料、制作PPT,进行课堂专题讨论。讨论式教学提高了研究生的创新能力和语言表达等方面的能力;增强了教师驾驭课堂的能力;促进了师生、生生间的科研思想的交流和碰撞。
【Abstract】 Lecture-style teaching method can not meet the needs of high-level innovative talents training. In order to adapt to the social demand for high-level innovative talent major in biology,according to the characteristics of the discussion-based teaching method,the school revised the course syllabus of biology frontier and progress of biological master graduate student,and formed a teaching team with Ph D and professor title or associate professor title.Comprehensive considering the features of the nuclear technology professional and the brand of the medical profession,Six discuss topics were chosen,they are the following:DNA’s damage and repair under the stress of radiation,The research progress of cell death,Ecological constraints and ecological support,Pollution ecology,The status quo of welfare and ethics of experimental animal,The research progress of immunotoxin. Under the guidance of teachers,the graduate students retrieval and read literature,organize their information,make PPT independently,and discuss the special topic in class. The discussion-based teaching have improved the graduate student’s innovation ability and the ability of language expression,enhanced the teacher’s ability of control the class,and promote the exchange of the scientific research ideas between teachers and students,as well as the communication between students and students.
