基于Maple Excel插件的化工原理教学因次分析系统开发

【摘要】 利用Excel和Maple Excel插件开发因次分析系统用于化工原理教学。各物理量的因次数据预先存储在Excel单元格内,用户在Excel内选择各物理量,Excel自动检测物理量的因次生成因次方程组并传送至Maple Excel插件。Maple进行符号运算得到因次关系并将结果返回Excel,Excel对因次的幂函数进行处理,自动得出不同物理量组合出的无因次数群。对热量传递和流动摩擦损失问题的试算表明该系统使用方便,处理速度快,结果准确。论文探索利用Maple的Excel插件解决化工原理等工程科学中进行因次分析时遇到的数学符号运算问题,给进行因次分析带来便利,开发出的系统也可应用于其它行业的因次分析问题,也为利用第三方插件扩展Excel的功能提供借鉴。

【Abstract】 In order to improve the teaching efficiency of course Principles of chemical engineering, a dimensional analysis program is developed with Excel and Maple Excel plug-in. The units of common frequently-used variables are previously stored in the cells of an Excel sheet. When the customer selects desire variables, the units of the variable will automatically detected and sent to the Maple Excel in terms of exponential sign. The dimensional analysis is conducted in Excel Maple with symbolic operation and exported back to Excel in terms of exponential sign. The dimensionless group number, therefore, can be generated. Two cases studies are given in this paper to test the interface, time consuming and accuracy, one is for film coefficient of heat transfer and the other is for isothermal fluid flow. It is shown that the program can solve the symbolic computation problem in dimensional analysis with Maple plug-in. The program can be also applied in dimensional analysis problem in other domain and give a useful example in enhancement of Excel add-in.
