【Abstract】 The governance strategy for street vendors in New York is the respect and guarantee for the survival wisdom and constitutional right of the street vendors’ group,as well as the safeguard and response to the legitimate interests and reasonable demands of other groups. It is also the product of the cooperative governance between the government,society,enterprises,and citizens. Based on the analysis of street vendors in New York City,we can see that the effectiveness of street vendor governance depends on three conditions: first,extensive public participation; second,effective collective action; third,comprehensive and detailed legal system,professional and independent regulators,and balanced law enforcement strategy to build a well-functioning governance system.更多还原
