基于有效容量链路模型的无线局域网帧聚合算法研究

【摘要】 为了在链路质量波动的情况下提供统计的延迟保证,提出一种可应用于高速IEEE802.11无线局域网的新型帧聚合算法。首先,通过目标延迟界限和超时概率的形式来表示QoS保证,并将其视作一个优化问题来构建有效容量模型。然后,应用适当的近似值推导出一个简单的公式,并通过使用比例-积分-微分(PID)控制器来求解。提出的PID控制器聚合算法能够独立地适应每个链接的时间限度,而这只需要在发射机端(如接入AP)就可以实现,无需对介质访问控制(MAC)做出任何改变。NS-3模拟结果显示,相比于最早到期优先算法,所提算法更胜一筹,表现出更加良好的性能。

【Abstract】 In order to provide statistical delay guarantees in the case of link quality fluctuations,a novel frame aggregation algorithm was proposed,which can be used in high speed IEEE802.11 wireless local area network.First,the QoS is guaranteed by the form of the target delay bound and the timeout probability,and it is considered as an optimization problem to construct the effective capacity model.Then,a simple formula is derived by applying the appropriate approximation,which is solved using aproportional integral derivative(PID)controller.The proposed PID controller aggregation algorithm can independently adapt to the time limit of each link,and this only needs to be implemented in the transmitter side(such as access to AP),without the need for medium access control(MAC)to make any changes.NS-3 simulation results show that compared with the earliest deadline first algorithm,the proposed scheme has a better performance.
