工程陶瓷回转表面放电磨削装置的改进研究
Research on Improvement of Electrical Discharge Grinding Device for Rotating Surface of Engineering Ceramics
【摘要】 高硬脆性导致传统方法难以加工工程陶瓷回转表面.目前已存在能够较好地实现工程陶瓷回转表面放电磨削加工的回转装置.该回转装置配合电火花线切割机床使用,且具有跟踪电极.为进一步提高已有装置的性能,本文将原夹持陶瓷工件回转的直流电机改为交流电机,提高了功率和转速稳定性.将原跟踪电极主体部分的材料由导电的铝改为绝缘的树脂,提高了放电磨削加工电流的稳定性.分别使用原有与改进的加工设备对工程陶瓷圆柱体表面进行加工,结果表明,改进的设备提高了加工过程稳定性和加工后的陶瓷表面质量.
【Abstract】 High hardness and brittleness result in a tough problem of processing the rotating surface of engineering ceramics with traditional methods. The existing rotating device with the tracking-electrode in combination with the WEDM( Wire Electrical Discharge Machine) can realize the steady grinding of engineering ceramics with uniform surface quality. To further improve the ability of the existing device,the former DC( Direct Current) motor which holds and rotates the ceramics cylinder with a lower power is replaced by an AC( Alternating Current) motor with a higher power,which improves the stability of the rotating speed.The material of the main part of the tracking-electrode is changed from conductive aluminum into insulated resin,which improves the stability of the electrical discharge current. The surface of the ceramics cylinder is processed by the original and improved devices respectively,and the comparison results indicate that the improved device improves the stability of the processing process and the surface quality of the ceramics cylinder.
