长链硅烷偶联剂对多壁碳纳米管表面改性研究

【摘要】 采用混酸体系(浓硫酸与浓硝酸体积比为3∶1)对碳纳米管进行氧化处理,再采用十二烷基三甲氧基硅烷(KH-304)对氧化碳纳米管进行表面改性,制得表面改性的碳纳米管。改性后的碳纳米管在乙醇和二氯甲烷的有机溶剂中的分散性得到了提高,吸油量从300mL/100g降到210mL/100g,水接触角从57.5°提高到了102.5°。运用傅里叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)及热失重分析(TG)对改性前后的碳纳米管进行了结构表征,结果表明:长链硅烷偶联剂成功接枝到氧化碳纳米管的表面,接枝量约25%。

【Abstract】 Using mixed acid system(concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid volume ratio was 3∶1),the oxidation of carbon nanotubes was carried out.Then dodecyl trimethoxysilane(KH-304)was used for the surface oxidation of modified carbon nanotubes,the surface-modified carbon nanotubes were prepared.The dispersion of modified carbon nanotubes in an organic solvent such as ethanol and dichloromethane increased,oil absorption from 300mL/100 g down to 210mL/100 g,the contact angle of water from 57.5°raised to 102.5°.The structure and properties of modified carbon nanotubes were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and thermal gravimetric analysis(TG).The results showed that long chain silane coupling agent was successfully grafted to the surface of oxidized carbon nanotubes and the graft was about 25%.
