喷墨数字印刷用水墨的性能和印刷质量的提高

【摘要】 测试了商用喷墨水墨的颜料尺寸和尺寸分布、Zeta电位、pH值、黏度、表面张力等性能,分析了水墨性能和印刷质量的关系。结果表明采用100nm左右的颜料,pH值在8左右和Zeta电位在-30~-20mV之间,是获得分散稳定优质水墨的基础;用助剂控制黏度在2~3MPa·s和表面张力在20~30mN/m的水墨具有较好的印刷质量;适当提高黏度和颜料固含量有助于印刷色彩表现;在印刷基材表面涂布多孔图层,提高印刷基材对水墨的渗吸量有助于改进其干燥性能。

【Abstract】 Size and size distribution of pigment particles,Zeta potential,pH value,viscosity,surface tension of commercial inkjet water-based inks were characterized.The relationship between the printing quality and properties of the inks were discussed.The results indicated that using the pigment with diameter of around 100 nm,pH value around 8and Zeta potential in-30~-20 mV were the essential requirements for the stable dispersion of ink.Using additives to control ink with viscosity in 2~3MPa·s and surface tension in 20~30mN/m were conducive to the printing quality.An appropriate increase of viscosity and pigment solid content would enhance the printing color performance.Increased the ink imbibition amount of print substrate by coating a layer of porous coating on the surface of printing substrate,would improve drying performance of ink.
