【Abstract】 An Example of "Travel Notes in the Tang Dynasty for Learning Buddhism"is an important material to study the language used in Tang period. By comparing the new words in this book and those with "Great Chinese Dictionary",the words that were not included or included at later time can be discovered,which would make up the deficiencies of the dictionary in terms of interpretation and documentary evidence.
