In this study,the impact property of Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr magnesium alloy was investigated in the temperature range of-40℃ to 350℃. The fracture morphology and formation mechanism of Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr magnesium alloy were analyzed,and the impact properties of a near-eutectic Al-Si AC8 A aluminum alloy under the same conditions were measured. Results revealed that the impact toughness of Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr magnesium alloys increased from 18.023 5 J/cm2 to 68.088 1 J/cm2 as the impact temperature increased from-40℃ to 350℃. ...
