Mathematica在电磁场与波可视化教学中的应用
Application of Mathematica in Electromagnetic Field and Wave Teaching
【摘要】 针对电磁场与波中许多概念与大学物理相关,其相关问题的解决涉及复杂场论等高等数学的计算,并且所得结果也无法获取直观的物理图像等问题,我们将Mathematica软件引入电磁场与波教学,讨论其在电磁场与波场论中最基本的三个概念梯度、散度和旋度的应用。研究发现Mathematica能够得到直观的可视化图像,这有助于加深对基本概念的理解,对场的空间图像理解,以及对教学质量的提高都具有无比的优越性。
【Abstract】 For the electromagnetic field and wave is related with many physical concepts and mathematic operations which is very difficult to understand and calculate, we introduced Mathematica into the electromagnetic field and wave teaching, taking the application of Mathematica in gradient, divergence, and curl for example. It is found that we can obtain the visualization figure by Mathematica and it is of great use to help students to understand basic concepts and the spatial distribution of field in the electromagnetic field and wave, and thus the teaching effect is significant.
