The UHMWPE-g-PS copolymer with the grafting degree of 18% was prepared by pre-irradiation and suspension grafting polymerization technique. The UHMWPE-g-PS was used to compatibilizer for blends of polyphenylene oxide( PPO) and UHMWPE.
