【Abstract】 The paper investigates in details the production of whitened flame-retardant polyester yarn including the configuration of the spinning process and related production technology. To overcome the shortcomings of whitened flame-retardant polyester fiber such as high frictional force and poor bulkiness, a series of measures such as lower per-unit weight, slower speed and fast transfer as well as reducing rollerand apron-wrapping and chute blocking phenomenon were taken, which were designed to improve fiber opening and reduce damage to fiber in the preparation process and following processes. As the result, the spinnability of the fiber was improved and high-quality whitened flame-retardant polyester yarn was spun.更多还原
