母树径级与贮藏对胖大海种子发芽率的影响

【摘要】 探讨母树径级、贮藏温度及贮藏时间对胖大海种子发芽率的影响.观察不同贮藏条件下种子的发芽情况,通过指数函数建立不同贮藏温度下胖大海种子发芽率与母树径级及贮藏时间的关系模型.结果表明:母树直径50~59 cm提供的种子发芽率、活力最大;母树直径<30 cm提供的种子发芽率、活力最小.0℃贮藏下种子的平均发芽率最高,常温贮藏下最低.胖大海种子的活力和发芽率随贮藏时间的延长而降低,保持种子50%的发芽率,其在-5℃、0℃和常温3个贮藏温度下分别不能长于135、195、45 d.综合分析表明,直径过大或过小的母树提供的种子发芽率均较低,从母树直径50~59 cm选种最佳,最好在0℃环境下贮藏种子,可以延长种子寿命至195 d,但胖大海种子不宜长久贮藏,优质的胖大海种子贮藏时间不能超过270 d.这为胖大海优种选择、贮藏及复壮生产提供了依据.

【Abstract】 Sterculia lychnophora in 5 diameter classes were used to investigate the effect of diameter class of mother tree,seed storage temperature and time on seed germination rate. A relationship model for seed germination rate of S. lychnophora and diameter class and storage time under different storage temperatures was established in exponential function. The results showed that seeds from mother trees in diameter of 50-59 cm had the highest germination rate and vigor while those from trees which were less than 30 cm were the worst. The average germination rate of seeds stored at 0 ℃ was the highest with the lowest from those stored in room temperature. Germination rate and vigor significantly declined when storage time prolonged. Therefore,to ensure seed germination rate more than 50%,storage time should not be longer than 135 d,195 d,45 d when stored under-5 ℃,0 ℃ and room temperature,respectively. Comprehensive analysis showed that mother trees in diameter of 50-59 cm produce the best seed,and diameter too small or too large is unfavorable for seed gernimation. And 0 ℃ is the optimal temperature for seed storage and longevity,but storage time should not be longer than 270 d.
