LncRNA中sORFs分布特征研究
Study on the Distribution Characteristics of sORFs Contained in LncRNA
【摘要】 非编码RNA(ncRNA)最初被定义为可转录但不编码蛋白质的核苷酸序列,最近研究人员发现,在长链非编码RNA(lncRNA)中存在小开放阅读框(small ORFs,sORFs)能够编码短肽,而且它们在生物体的生长发育过程中发挥着重要功能.本文首先基于功能lncRNA数据库lncrnadb构建lncRNA数据集,综合运用生物信息学的方法,对lncRNA中的sORFs分布特征进行了深入分析,在此基础上对sORFs的蛋白编码特征进行了初步研究,结果表明sORFs在lncRNA中普遍存在,并且部分sORFs展现出一定的肽编码特征,为今后lncRNA及sORFs研究提供了重要理论依据.
【Abstract】 Long noncoding RNA(LncRNA)is initially defined as a sequence that can transcribe but not encode proteins.With the development of the research,it is found that the small ORFs(sORFs)contained in lncRNA can encode short peptides,and these peptides play important physiological functions in some stages of growth and development of organisms and different tissues.because of this,more and more researchers take preference on sORFs study.Therefore this paper predicted the distribution characteristics of sORFs from database lncrnadb and analyzed those sequences characteristics of coding potential by bioinformatics methods.In conclusion,sORFs is ubiquitous in lncRNA and partly has the same feature in nucleotide sequence distribution as the coding sequences.We hope this work can provide a new idea for lncRNA and sORFs research in the future.
