Analyses of geochemistry features and sedimentary environment in the Upper Ordovician Wufeng-Lower Silurian Gaojiabian Formations in Nanjing-Zhenjiang area
Based on systematic petrological research and geochemical analysis of good source rocks from Lunshan well 5,we conclude that the intercalated beds of the black shale mixed with siliceous rocks and ash is the major rock type in the Upper Ordovician Wufeng-Lower Silurian Gaojiabian Formations in the NanjingZhenjiang area of Lower Yangtze,where a great number of graptolites are recognized.The results show that the bottom of the Wufeng Formation is composed of calcareous and siliceous shales,while the top area ...
