【Abstract】 Each ethnic group has its own social and cultural context of the expression and its unique native Style. They represent the diversity of Chinese culture which should never be ignored in its communication with the outside world. The book Illustrated Chinese Traditional Handicrafts contains in its Chinese Han text some representative features of minorities’ expressions,which have been analyzed in this paper at levels of words,sentences and discourse respectively. The paper then tries to explore how to excavate the original native style of these expressions,and reproduce them in their corresponding English versions,verifying that the restoration of the indigenous style of ethnic minorities is a necessary step in translating similar Chinese Han texts. The aim of the paper is to convey the vitality of the multicultural Chinese culture to the world more precisely and vividly.更多还原
