【摘要】 创办于1897年10月的时务学堂是中国第一所近代意义上的高等学校,它推动了湖南教育由传统向近代的转型,在中国教育近代化的历程中意义非凡。虽然时务学堂在历史上仅存在不到一年时间,但其对后世的影响却不可小觑。梳理和归纳学界对时务学堂的研究,旨在重温那一段激动人心的历史,同时亦希望能对当下的进一步研究提供参考借鉴。更多还原

【Abstract】 Shiwu Academy which was set up in October 1897 is the first institution of higher education in modern China. It makes Hunan’s education shift from traditional into modern. Though Shiwu Academy just lasts a year,it has a profound influence on modern history. This paper makes a brief summary of the study on Changsha Shiwu Academy. It aims to review the special history again and also puts forward some advices on future research.更多还原
