硫铁化合物氧化尾气中二氧化硫气体的监测

【摘要】 为实现在线监测硫铁化合物氧化时生成的二氧化硫,利用三氧化二铁、氢氧化铁及四氧化三铁与硫化氢反应制备硫铁化合物,在线监测了硫铁化合物的氧化升温和氧化尾气中二氧化硫的质量浓度。根据试验结果,推测并验证了装置中残余的硫化氢气体及吸附在硫化反应产物中的硫化氢气体对二氧化硫的监测有严重干扰。为消除硫化氢干扰,在氧化反应前用饱和湿度的高纯氮气对试验装置进行吹扫。结果表明,吹扫时间至少为10 min,才可以驱除试样中的硫化氢气体,从而避免对二氧化硫的监测产生干扰。同时,硫铁化合物的氧化升温与二氧化硫的生成及生成量密切相关,可以用二氧化硫来判断设备内硫铁化合物是否具有危险性,从而为硫铁化合物的自燃提出更早更全面的判据。

【Abstract】 The aim of this paper is to develop a method for monitoring the concentration rate of the sulfur oxide on line in the tail exhaust gas,in case when the ferric oxide is formed and large amounts of sulfur oxide may result in. In production practice,ferric oxide,ferricferro oxide and the iron hydroxide can often be used to react with the hydrogen sulfide to produce iron sulfides in a time length of about six hours. And,because of this,hydrogen sulfide can be turned into gas,whose flow may come about at a speed of 230 mL/min in the sulfurization apparatus. Moreover,since the sulfur oxide monitor is connected to one of the three necks of the flask,it can monitor the concentration rate of the sulfur oxide in the online exhaust gas. At the same time,it would be possible to put a thermocouple in the middle of the sampling gas to make recordings of the changes of the temperature,when the oxidation process of the iron oxide begins to go on. Nevertheless,there may exist some excessive gases which tend to interfere into the monitoring activities of the sulfur oxide in the process.Through analysis,we have found that the interference of water vapor and nitrogen can be expelled from the sulfur dioxide,which can help to adsorb the hydrogen sulfide in the pipes and test the sampling gas if it is the interferential gas needed. Furthermore,the interference can be removed by using a wet nitrogen purge device. Therefore,we have investigated the sweeping time,for example,4 minutes,10 minutes and 40 minutes,which may all be included. The results show that the sweeping device and the samples can do cleaning up of hydrogen sulfide totally at least for 10 minutes,and further eliminate the disturbance of the sulfur dioxide. Nevertheless,there is no disturbance for a new device which is not polluted by hydrogen sulfide. When compared with the other methods of monitoring the sulfur dioxide concentration,the present method should be aimed at the sulfur dioxide release during the oxidation of the sulfur iron compounds. Thus,the rising of the oxidation temperature of the iron sulfides should be related with the aggregation of the sulfur dioxide,which can be applied to judge the likely risk of the iron sulfides. And,accordingly,the process can provide an easy and comprehensive warning for the spontaneous combustion of the iron sulfides.
