SBS的侧链羧基官能化改性及在改性沥青中应用
Carboxyl Branched-Functionalized Modification of SBS and Application to Modified Asphalt
【摘要】 以3–巯基丙酸(MPA)为改性剂,偶氮二异丁腈(AIBN)为引发剂,利用巯基–烯加成反应对苯乙烯–丁二烯–苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物(SBS)进行侧链羧基官能化改性,得到改性产品SBS-g-COOH。利用傅立叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)和核磁共振(~1H–NMR)对不同接枝度的SBS-g-COOH进行结构表征,考察了反应温度、反应时间、改性剂用量对侧链羧基接枝度的影响。利用荧光显微镜考察了不同接枝度的SBS-g-COOH在沥青中的分散性,结果表明,SBS-g-COOH的接枝度随反应温度、反应时间和改性剂含量的增加而增加。低接枝度的SBS-g-COOH能明显改善其与沥青的相容性及热存储稳定性,接枝度在10%左右最佳。
【Abstract】 The low compatibility between asphalt and styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS) was improved using carboxyl functionalized SBS(SBS-g-COOH),which was prepared by thiol-ene addition reaction where 3-mercaptopropionic acid(MPA),1,4-dioxane(DOA),2,2′-azbisisobutyrronitrile(AIBN) were used as modifying agent,solvent,and initiator respectively. The carboxyl group was mainly grafted to the vinyl double bonds of polybutadiene segments of SBS with characterization results of FTIR and ~1H NMR. The effects of reaction temperature,time and the amount of modifying agent were investigated,and the results show that the grafting degree is increased with increasing reaction temperature,time,and content of modifying agent. The compatibility between SBS-g-COOH with different grafting degree and asphalt is investigated using fluorescence microscopy. The compatibility,segregation degree,and storage stability of modified asphalt can be obviously improved at the grafting degree of SBS-g-COOH range around 10%.
