【Abstract】 The holiness of beauty means beauty in itself. What are the reasons that beauty should be holy? It is a basic question in the domain of aesthetics that people has always tried to answer. First reason is that beauty in essence is a transcendent being. Second reason is that beauty is the symbol of truth and goodness in the highest spiritual sense. Third reason is that beauty is the experience of ultimate spirit realm and the understanding about our own life meaning which is a bridge across sense and reason,reality and ideal,finite and infinite,and which there is a kind of redemptive power springing from aesthetic experience,leading our life to the realm of freedom. At present,the study of aesthetics faces a responsibility which responds to the calling of the holiness of beauty in itself.更多还原
