【Abstract】 A new kind of technics of using CaO granules and low-pressure infiltration method to make porous aluminum material was developed. Using tailor-made low-pressure infiltration device, the qualified porous aluminum specimen were made by using the technological parameters of the granules preheat temperature of 630 ℃, the infiltration pressure of 0.025 MPa and the aluminum liquid temperature of 750 ℃, and using ammonia chloride as granules dislodging material.
