A three-dimensional CuO nanowires( CuO NWs) network was synthesized by thermal oxidation of copper foams. Morphology,composition and structure of the CuO NWs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy( SEM),X-ray diffraction( XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy( XPS),respectively.
