【Abstract】 Nowadays, many vocational college students who major in business English, international trade and other disciplines closely related to English are generally required to take CET 4. Score of reading comprehension is 35% of total. Therefore, it is of great importance in CET 4. The paper starts with the relationship between discourse analysis and CET 4 reading comprehension, focusing on applying discourse analysis to reading process and approaches of discourse analysis in reading comprehension.
