以消费者需求为驱动的产品造型设计方法
Product Modeling Design Method Driven by Consumer Demand
【摘要】 了解消费者对产品造型的潜在需求已经成为产品设计领域的一个重要研究课题。这个领域先前的研究通常使用和情感相关的词语。然而,这种方法被限制在其能够准确反映消费者的潜在欲望。因此,研究的目的是确定个人使用习惯性的表达方式传达自己对产品造型的需求。在口语造型任务中,确定机床造型的23个测试主题,向设计师描述他们想象中的机床造型,设计师逐渐绘制出他们描述的机床造型。邀请9个领域的专家,包括语言学者、工业设计师和市场营销师等,分别被要求分析提供的这个主题描述并把它们分成明显的表达方式。结合专家的意见形成一个等级聚类。结果表明,共有5种表达模式,即造型描述、类比、分类、情感表达和联想。从使用频率的结果分析表明,在前期设计阶段五种模式几乎用法相同。然而,造型描述在后期设计阶段占主导地位。该研究结果目的在于调查了解消费者对产品造型的潜在需求,为未来产品造型技术发展奠定了基础。
【Abstract】 To understand the potential demand for product modeling has become an important research topic in the field of product design. The emotion related words were usually adopted in the previous research in this field. However,this approach is only limited to accurately reflecting the potential desire of consumers.Therefore,this study is aimed to determine the personal uses of habitual expression to convey their own needs for product modeling. In the task of spoken language modeling,23 test subjects of machine tool modeling are determined and 9 experts are invited in the field,including language scholars,industrial designers and marketing planners,who are required respectively to analyze the theme described and put them into a clear expression. A hierarchical clustering is formed combined with the experts’ opinion. The results showthat there are 5 kinds of expression patterns,that is,interpretation form,analogizing,classifying,conveying emotions and associating. Results from the frequency analyses showthat in the early stage of the design,the five models are almost the same. However,the form of the interpretation dominates the later stage of the design. The purpose of this study is to investigate the potential demand of consumers for product modeling,and lay a foundation for the future development of product modeling technology.
