【Abstract】 Collection of Grievance Relief Stories written by Song Ci in Southern Song dynasty is the first systematic forensic book in China. This book records the principles and requirements of forensic examination,the examination of various kinds of corpse and wound,the system of victim protection and emergency treatment and mentions many typical cases and precious methods. The issue of prison execution is so vital that judicial workers need to have a good command of examination knowledge and be cautious in examination in order to achieve the purpose of reliving grievances. Being cautious is the basic principle in corpse and wound examination and detailed and careful examination is the attitude held by corpse and wound examiners. Precise study and determination is the spirit held by the examiners.
