Chemical nature and the characteristics of biological information are the dual attributes of gene which are reflected both in the exploration of genetic process and in its structure and function. Understanding in-depth the dual attributes of gene could help us to understand more in-depth gene's importance in the evolution of life and the potential impact on human society. It also could help us at the same time to learn the genetics and molecular biology well.
