多路径传输协议测试床构建与测试
Construction and Implementation Research Testbed for Multipath Transmission
【摘要】 充分利用多宿主网络终端的多个网络接口同时传输数据,以获取更大的网络吞吐量是下一代网络协议研究的热点。MPTCP和CMT-SCTP是当前下一代互联网协议研究中比较成熟的两个多路径传输协议,IETF正在对其进行标准化。为了对多路径传输协议进行测试和分析研究,特构建一测试床用于对MPTCP和CMT-SCTP协议进行测试及分析。实验结果表明MPTCP和CMT-SCTP多路径传输能获得较大的吞吐量性能提高,但也存在缓存空间占用较大的问题,而且CMT-SCTP性能受初始路径影响较大,仍需进一步改进其工作机制。
【Abstract】 Achieving multi-path transport and maximizing the payload throughput of the application by terminal ’s multi-homed characteristics is a hot topic in the research of next generation Internet Protocol, MPTCP and CMT-SCTP are both more mature and key protocols for multipath transmission, and they are being standardized by IETF. In order to test and analyze multipath transmission protocol, constructs a re-search testbed for MPTCP and CMT-SCTP performance analysis. Results show that both MPTCP and CMT-SCTP protocols can significantly increase throughput. Meanwhile the buffers for transmission are huge, and CMT-SCTP is easy still not perfect and need further im-provement.
