【Abstract】 Music and language are both primary pattern manifestations of sign,therefore characterized by semiotics and motivation,mapping human thought from different dimensions. The cognitive competence applied to musical understanding and processing is similar to the general capacity that humans use to structure their understanding of the everyday world,which both belong to cognitive abilities.
