With the rapid development of digital technology, the human society has entered the new media epoch. Although the continuous optimization and innovation in new media technology has created a advantageous environment for the cultivation of the socialist core value among college students, some problems do pop up and bring about some negative effects. Based on a profound analysis of the causes of all these negative effects, some countermeasures are put forth in this paper.
