【Abstract】 By using logical analysis and literature study and on the basis of theories of history and culture,this paper reviews how sword was used as weapon and then as part of culture.Sword was created under the influence of the oriental culture,given institutional and spiritual meanings as a kind of weapon.Eventually,it is not used to kill but as a symbol of status,power and ritual.At present,it is more used for recreation.更多还原
