A novel amorphous silica material(ASM) was successfully prepared from kaolin and characterized by several techniques, including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), X-ray diffraction(XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM), and N2adsorption-desorption.
