【Abstract】 In the history of its urban progress, Tianjin has gradually developed its distinctive urban character and urban culture, especially its typical folk culture, waterway grain transport culture, concession culture, and industrial culture. These regional cultures have in return affected the evolution of Tianjin, and at the same time served as a support of the concept and practice of urban public art, leading to the emerging of numerous typical cases of urban public art design. This article attempts to analyze the causes of the formation of Tianjin’s public art design style from the perspective of the regional environment and regional cultural peculiar to Tianjin, and explore the role of regional characteristics in urban public art design.更多还原
