【Abstract】 How to make use of the extensive and ever-ready online resources in foreign language teaching in vocational colleges is an issue facing every language teacher. After an analysis of characteristics of education in the network era, the paper proposes a beyond-classroom method of language teaching and learning and discusses several transitions vital for a successful implementation of this method by taking the course of Comprehensive English as an example.
