【Abstract】 The construction of academic journal reviewers’ tank can help promote the journals’ academic quality and facilitate editors to catch up with latest academic development. In addition to following the basic principles and ways for selecting reviewers, small-scale academic journals still need to select the reviewers from the university advantageous disciplines and the local characteristic study teams according to their own situation. Besides, they can also entrust journal editorial committee to recommend reviewers.When selecting reviewers, small-scale academic journals should pay special attention to reviewers’ willingness for paper review.What’s more, they should also develop a strict editorial review mechanism, review accountability mechanism and evaluation system.
