Effect of Sodium Tanshinone IIA Sulfonate Injection on Wound Healing of Burns Skingrafting Wounds and Scar Formation
【Abstract】 Objective: To explore the effect of Sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate injection on success rate of skin grafting and fibrotic scar formation in burn wound healing. Methods: A total of 62 burn inpatients administrated with skin grafting from March 2014 to December 2014 in our ward were selected and divided into control group and experimental group, according to the clinical medication of Sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate injection whether or not. The time of wound healing, scarring and the graft survival rate were compared between the two groups. Results: After the treatments, the patients in the two groups achieved complete wound healing. The graft survival rate of experimental group was higher than that of the control group [(97.12±1.89) % vs.(89.96±1.86) %, P <0.01]. The healing time of experimental group was shorter than that of the control group(10.1±1.9 d vs. 14.3±2.3 d, P <0.001), scar formation assessment was better in the experimental group than control group, including Hematoma area(1.50±0.03 vs. 3.04±0.08, P <0.01), aberration rate[2(6.45) vs. 8(25.81), P <0.05] and infection rate[2(6.45) vs. 9(29.03), P <0.05]. Conclusions: For skin garfing wounds of burn patients, sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate injection can promote wound healing process, reduce scar formation and improve the success rate of skin grafting.
