This paper discusses the effects of Co, Nb and Zr elements on microstructure and magnetic properties of melt-spun ribbons and annealed ribbons of Nd-Fe-B alloy. The optimum annealing parameters for Pr_(2.85)Nd_(8.36)B_(5.44)Fe_(83.35), Nd_(11.43)B_(5.58)Co_(2.37)Fe_(80.62), Nd_(11.83)B_(5.93)Nb_(1.33)Fe)(80.91) and Pr_(2.72)Nd_(7.97)B_(6.28)Zr_(1.03)Fe_(82.00) alloys are correspondingly 700 ℃/10 min, 650 ℃/10 min, 700 ℃ /10 min and 700 ℃ /10 min.
