【Abstract】 The Adv + N structure,using adverbs to modify nouns,is a peculiar linguistic phenomenon concerned by many scholars who have various views and explanations. With the further analysis of Adv + N structure,the Decategorization Theory has demonstrated the variation in syntactic and semantic characteristics of decategoried nouns,within which metonymy is the working mechanism. Besides,it will deepen the knowledge of pragmatic construction by using Adv + N structure to analyze its cognitive and psychological motivation.更多还原
