【Abstract】 This paper analyzes the novel The Kite Runnerfrom the perspective of the attitude system,specifically affect system,judgment system and appreciation system at the lexical level. By exploring how the protagonist Amir redeemed himself through revealing his psychological transformation:from the irreparable mistakes he committed to Hassan in his boyhood,to the constant condemnation of his conscience after he moved to the U.
