The high temperature oxidation behavior of Ti_3Al alloy was studied at 800 ℃, 850 ℃ and 900 ℃. The oxidation kinetics curves at different temperatures were analyzed. The phase structure, microstructure and morphology of the oxide layers were investigated by XRD and SEM equipped with EDS. The results show that the mass gain of the alloy after oxidation is obvious with the increase of oxidation temperature and time. The oxide products are mainly composed of TiO_2 and Al_2O_3.
