Pt-Cu bimetallic catalysts were prepared by magnetron sputtering of Pt and Cu nanoparticles onto AlOx support. Pt/Cu atomic ratios of these catalysts were facilely controlled by manipulating the sputter power of Pt. The chemical composition, surface morphologies and binding energies of catalyst film were evaluated by SEM, atomic force microscopy(AFM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).
