【Abstract】 Not only modern society but also ancient society faced the important social problem that is how to solve the old age support. Old Babylonians depended mostly on the family support to solve the elder support.The elder of the nuclear family were supported by their offspring. If the elder have no children,they usually adopted a son to get his support in their old ages. The widows could obtain their husbands’ support by inheritance or bestowal.
