【摘要】 勒菲弗尔"中西翻译思想比较"一文高屋建瓴,从文化学派的视角比较了中西翻译传统并分析了差异产生的原因。但深入研读此文,发现其在"中国翻译历史阶段的划分、中西翻译传统中原文与译文的关系、西方译者的读者意识和西方翻译史上的合译"四方面存在误读或误释。通过史料考证和理据分析对这些疏漏进行了考辩,并深入剖析了隐藏在疏漏背后的可能原因。借此呼吁:国内学者在学习国外翻译著作时不可盲信书中所言,而应大胆质疑、小心求证,并积极发表自己的不同见解,以赢得一个与西方平等对话的翻译研究话语权。更多还原

【Abstract】 In Lefevere’s essay entitled"Chinese and Western Thinking on Translation",the differences between Chinese and Western translation theory and their possible causes are explored from a cultural studies perspective. A close reading of his paper reveals that his four judyments cannot hold water: the periodication on Chinese translation history,the relationship between source and target text in Chinese and western translation tradition,western translators’ reader awareness,and collaborative translation in western translation history. Through historical research and an informed weighing of the evidence,this paper revisits and refutes his misconceptions,with a view to calling on us Chinese scholars to abolish"the blind belief in what the book says"when reading foreign works. Moreover,we should boldly express our different opinions so as to win a discourse right of equal dialogue with the West on translation studies.更多还原
