【Abstract】 "You Baichuan Biography" of "Draft of the History of Qing Dynasty" Volume 423 by Zhao Erxun and others was recorded briefly and simply. Comparing the records in the First Historical Archives of China with Memorials by You Baichuan, we can find 3 mistakes in the biography. First, time do not match events in these two sentences: "In the sixth year of Tong Zhi, You Baichuan was promoted to be a censor to patrol Xi Cheng", and "After a short time, he went back from his mother’s mourning and was promoted to be a Ji Shi Zhong". Second, event do not match the fact in the sentence: "After he went back to Beijing, the barn got on fire. He was expelled and went back home". We identify and correct the three errors which are inconsistent with the facts, and we hope the correction of this wrong history will not mislead the later readers.更多还原
