【Abstract】 The paper reviews several representative views on Wang Guowei’s definition of "realm" and the source of the word.The paper argues that Wang Guowei used the word "realm" from Buddhist scriptures,but made a fundamental change when the word was specifically used,a change from the buddhistic ontology to sentiment and nature ontology.The concept of the changed "realm" has rich connotation,becoming a generalization of the characteristic of Chinese literature更多还原
